Ning Wu 吳寧中, CEO
Ning is responsible for the overall management of OPEn. She is a
seasoned entrepreneur with hands-on experience in all aspects of business
operation including business development, market development, product launch,
project management, and information technology. Her business credentials include managing a number of consulting
firms and several successful joint-ventures. She understands the “nature of the
business” and is highly qualified to bring the best knowledge and tools to help
clients successfully navigate their new ventures. Ning is one of the key people in OPEn’s client engagement and
relations management. She is committed to establishing long term relationships
with clients.
Yee Wu 吳宜中, CFO
Yee is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in both
private and public industries. Her business background ranges from consumer
packaged goods to educational broadcasting to financial and healthcare
industries; her clients include organizations such as Hbc and Smart Systems for
Health Agency.Yee knows that the probability of success is increased by
applying thorough analysis and planning prior to execution. She is dedicated to
helping OPEn’s clients build a solid foundation and long-term viability for
their new businesses. Her expertise includes business planning and analysis, financial
modelling, marketing analysis, and process implementation and management,
including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX 404). In a previous role as the
Senior Manager, Finance Governance for Personal and Small Business Lending at a
major Canadian financial institution, she managed the SOX 404 financial control
processes covering requirements, implementation, testing, and documentation
under the COSO Framework. The institution was one of the first corporations in
North America to be SOX certified.Yee graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours BA
and has an MBA from York University, Schulich School of Business.
Shawn Barry 白山, Creative Director, Canada
Shawn is a creative professional with 20 years in the industry.
An Art Director by trade, he is also a classically trained artist and musician.
His professional style is a blend of his creative passions and personal
inspirations, guided by a disciplined business approach. Shawn brings lateral
creative thinking to OPEn's team.During his substantial career, Shawn has worked in traditional
television, print and promotions. He has worked on clients ranging from
National healthcare brands to the world's best-known consumer brands. "For
me, there's no such thing as 'the one way' to do something. Media changes,
consumers change and the way we communicate changes. The only constant is the
need to make the complex, simple. It's important to keep an open mind." says
Shawn.
Tan Ping 譚平, Vice President, China
Tan Ping is an innovative advertising talent with recognised
professional and educational contributions in digital filming and animation
technology in China. He played a key role in the founding of Beijing Star
Digital Film Institution, which is one of the first of its kind in the country
to offer educational programmes in this field. He has managed multimedia centres and advertising agencies and
is also an owner of Sun Communications. His professional services include both
consultation in and production of commercials, multimedia presentations, and
event management. Tan applies his state-of-the-art knowledge to enhance
marketing and advertising concepts in today’s China. His project history
includes Johnson & Johnson Asia, Pfizer Inc., and CCTV.
Yang Tao 楊濤, General Manager, China
Yang Tao has more than 10 years of marketing and advertising
industry experience, encompassing roles that range from account manager to
advertising manager to customer relations. She has “worked in the field” and
can assist clients in articulating their requirements precisely and clearly. As
one of the owners of Sun Communications, she knows how to help the clients stay
focused. She has a journalism background and has the knack to integrate
communications and visuals perceptively to ensure clients are satisfied with
their campaign results, whether in advertising, print production, events
management or marketing.
Ken Ng 吳其健, General Manager, Hong Kong
Hong Kong Ken is a highly qualified consultant with more than 25
years of professional experience. As OPEn’s General Manager for Hong Kong, he
is the principal liaison in Asia for Sales, Marketing, and Business Development
with a specialisation in advanced technology products.His experience and skills, along with extensive knowledge of the
North American and Asian markets and business practices, provide the comfort
zone that clients seek in their new business ventures and developments. Ken graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with
a BSc and has an MSc in Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is a
member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada.
Yue Shen 沈悅, Senior Multimedia Designer, China
Yue Shen is a well known designer in China. His creative talent
is highly recognised and has put him on the Top 100 Chinese Designers list.His work in design, advertising, marketing and promotions has
national coverage. Some of his projects include Volks Wagon (China) and
wildlife conservation organisations. The message he projects for his clients
are clear, precise and effective. He is dynamic and he is now.
Sandra Lockwood 山地蘭, Senior Multimedia Designer, Canada
Sandra is a highly gifted multimedia designer and performance
artist. She is a true talent who knows how to appeal to the audiovisual senses.Her graphic and web designs include artwork for the live theatre
scene such as Vancouver’s La Luna Productions. Her multimedia contributions
include DNA Productions’ CD-ROM Einstein’s Dreams, an EMMA Nominee, and
production of the CD Shell. She also art directed and performed in the music
video “Mimi’s Leg”, which was broadcasted on MuchMusic and CBC. As a performance
artist, she has performed extensively throughout Canada. Sandra graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art with a BFA
(majoring in film/video) and holds a Sheridan College postgraduate Diploma in
Design and Computer Graphics. Sandra’s awards include the internationally
recognised Monbusho Scholarship under which she studied Classical Japanese
Literature in Japan for two years.
